Let the catfights continue!
Author: Kiera Cass
The sequel to The Selection picks up where the first book ended.
From 35 girls down to 6. Prince Maxon has less time, and fewer choices than ever to choose a bride. Who will it be? Marlee is the bubbly one, Kriss is the smart one, Elise is the foreigner, Natalie is the nice one, Celeste is the snobby one, or will he choose America the friend?
America loves Maxon, but she’s not crazy about the crown that comes with him. What does a girl like America know about being a queen? What does America want? Does she want the luxurious life of the palace, or does she want the familiar life she new with Aspin?
With the political rebels on the move and the whole country watching the selection the stakes are high. America has some decisions to make that will permanently affect three people’s lives forever.
This book is a bit more political intrigue than the Selection was, and that is a good thing! It’s not the West Wing or anything, but it helps to flush out this world. This is not high brow great literature, this is corny, chick flick escapism, and I loved it!
