This is a beautiful kids book. I recommend this book as a great read-a-loud book for your little ones.
Odd Librarian Out 
I had heard of the poorly-received film adaptation of this, but I didn’t know the book was by the ‘Bloom County’ guy. Is the character in this the same Milo who shows up in ‘Bloom County?’
