I like that the kids are dealing with kid level mysteries, missing pets and pranks. I get parents asking me for book recommendations for imaginative kids even find Encyclopedia Brown and Nancy Drew too intense. This series is quickly becoming my go-to recommendation.
I’ll admit I find it a little creepy every time Detective Conan’s “detective boys” stumble upon a dead body or something equally as disturbing. So it’s nice to see kids being detectives with more kid level mysteries.
