Spoiler Free Review: The Day the Crayons Quit

Hey Duncan, It’s me, Red Crayon. We need to talk

Author: Drew Dewalt

Duncan just loves to color. One day Duncan opens his box of crayons to find that his crayons are gone! Instead he finds letters from each crayon explaining why they are not happy with the way they have been treated. Can Duncan convince his crayons to give him another chance?

The book is a hilarious chronicle of the “drama” inside this dysfunctional crayon box. Well worth the read for the young and old.

I fear that my crayons as a child may have had many of the same complains as the ones in this book. sorry crayons!
