Finally free from Count Olaf, the orphaned Baudelaire children find themselves in the care of Dr. Montgomery. Dr. Montgomery is a very kind man who works in the most remote areas of the world, studying and sometimes, discovering all kinds of reptiles. Dr. Montgomery promises to take the children with him on an expedition to South America where he hopes they can learn to be a family. . . Then he dies.
Will the Baudelaire children end up in Count Olaf’s clutches again? or are they cleaver enough to escape such an unfortunate fate?
