3. Mistborn: Well of Assentation
Author: Brandon Sanderson

2. Mistborn: Hero of Ages
Author: Brandon Sanderson

1. Mistborn: The Final Empire
Author: Brandon Sanderson

This was my first Brandon Sanderson series, but it will not be my last. Mistborn was such a good trilogy. I love when authors use little pieces of their worldbuilding to pull the rug out from under you! In the world of Mistborn, the magic all revolves around metal. what if you find a new metal? or you put a piece of metal inside your body? What do you do if your world depends on a “chosen one” and they screw it up? Sanderson’s worldbuilding might be the best I’ve ever seen. The plot of the first novel is a heist plot with superpowers and a dash of My Fair Lady. It is a very unique mix and I love it.
