I didn’t mean to pick up the middle of the Devil Wears Prada series. I just loved that title and snatched it up to read. I do wish the MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) a term which here means “scam” had more of a role in the plot. That is why I picked it up after all, but it is what it is.
The real plot is about a bunch of ex-New York solicits adjusting to life in suburbia. Oh sure, there are fun little “desperate housewife” style shenanigans going on, but really the story is about going from Doir to diaper bags.
It’s not bad, just a little mind numbing. but hey we are coming out of two years of pandemic, this book is a fun break from the world. Sometimes you need that.

It’s a fun little story, that I did enjoy reading. To be honest though: it’s been a few weeks since a read it and if you put a gun to my head I couldn’t tell you a single character arc.
