I’m a librarian with a book blog (I know, how original right?) I could fill this blog with essays about societal expectations and limitations for women in the works of Christina Rossetti, but I’d rather spend my time reading fantasy novels and comics.

What can I say: I’m a nerd who just wants to blog about books, comics, and other stuff.

I must confess, I am guilty of many snotty literature crimes: I like YA novels, I like comics, not graphic novels mind you, I actually have a pull-list at a comic book store (#movetheneedle), but my biggest crime: I think Steven King is overrated.

I’m weird, I know it. I’m somewhere between geek and book nerd, I keep my comics in Dewey Decimal order.

I’m the odd librarian out.
